The FA Cup - Domestic Pride

The Football association challenge cup, popularly known as the FA Cup is the oldest football tournament to exist which is an annual knockout domestic English cup competition. The FA cup is known to produce high tension games where at least one team from the leagues below the premier league advance to the semi-finals. But this year it’s the return of the old guns. With the competitions 3 most successful teams in Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea along with the current champions Manchester City, Wembley is ready to host the semi-finals and finals yet again.

A shaky Manchester City team after the loss against Chelsea confidently marched on to the semis where they will be playing the competitions' most successful team, Arsenal who beat an over-performing Sheffield United team in the last round.

The other semis is the clash of the titans of the good old Red devils against the Blue pensioners. Chelsea is a team flying high with confidence as they have won all 3 games since the season resumed, but United have done the double over Chelsea this season including an opening day 4-0 thumping and also beating them in the league cup will definitely fancy their chances. Let's wait and see and which powerhouse in England will add another silverware to their enormous trophy cabinet.
